CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

A vibrant Children’s Ministry is far more than just "childcare during the service"; it is a vital investment in the next generation’s spiritual identity. During these pivotal years, children are forming their primary concepts of God, faith, and the church. A dedicated ministry provides a tailored, age-appropriate environment where biblical truths are translated into stories, play, and songs that resonate with a child’s wonder. By providing a space where kids can ask questions and experience the Gospel on their own terms, the church helps them move from a "borrowed faith" inherited from their parents to a personal relationship with Jesus. This foundation acts as an anchor, giving them a sense of security and belonging that remains long after they leave the classroom.

Beyond the spiritual lessons, Children’s Ministry fosters a unique sense of godly community and mentorship that kids rarely find elsewhere. In this setting, children are surrounded by adult leaders and peers who reinforce the values of kindness, honesty, and service. These relationships show children that they are a significant part of the larger Body of Christ, not just "future" members, but valued participants today. For parents, the ministry serves as a powerful partner, providing resources and support to help lead a Christ-centered home. When a child looks forward to going to church because they feel known and loved, it transforms the faith experience from a weekly obligation into a joyful, lifelong journey of discovery.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH || during 10 AM worship service || Classroom B

Join us each week for Children’s Church, which runs during our main worship service. Kids who want to be part of Children's Church will be dismissed after the Children’s Moment and may be picked up after our worship service ends. On the Sundays where we partake of communion, kids will return to the sanctuary in time to partake of the elements.

THIS MARCH IN GROW

Getting invited to a party is one of the best feelings, and being left out is one of the worst. But there's good news— Jesus never leaves anyone out! He invites everyone to spend time with him, experience his love, and share it with others. This series will remind kids that Jesus' invitation is always open, and we're never too far away to join the party! In this 5-week series, kids will learn that I'm invited to believe in Jesus, love like Jesus does, experience Jesus' miracles, ask Jesus for help, and worship Jesus.

Childcare/Nursery is available during all Sunday morning activities (Sunday school, Bible studies, worship). It is located in Classroom C (the room on the right, past the kitchen.)

Throughout the year, we also host a variety of special events and activities for children and families. Stay up to date on our Events page. If you have questions or have interest in volunteering in any capacity, contact our Director Of Family Ministries Megan Wetzel.
