In the past, North Cross has supported Up 21, a local support organization for children with Down’s Syndrome and their families. One of the ways we have helped them was to provide volunteers for their annual Walk in the Park, their major fund raiser. They are going to have the event this year on Saturday, March 25, 9 AM – 12 PM. The event is held at the park at Coup Drive in Mandeville. It is entirely outdoors.
We are in need of 12 -14 volunteers to help with set-up, serving food, passing out water, etc. Persons interested in volunteering can contact Nancy Soine by email [nancysoine@hotmail.com] or in person at church.
